LEADERS IN TRAINING PROGRAM (LIT)

The L.I.T. Program, short for Leaders in Training, is an exceptional leadership development program designed to empower and equip young scholars with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for success in their future endeavors. Our program is built on a foundation of utilizing metrics, participating in weekly leadership courses, and embarking on various exposure trips, including college visits and cultural museums.

With a record of 30 successful program completions, our L.I.T. Scholars have demonstrated their commitment to growth and excellence. We have 12 scholars actively engaged in the program, honing their leadership potential and expanding their horizons.

One of the hallmarks of the L.I.T. Program is our scholars' commitment to furthering their education at four-year institutions. We take pride that all 30 graduates have pursued their dreams by continuing their educational journey at esteemed colleges and universities. As a testament to their hard work and dedication, our scholars have collectively earned over $12 million in scholarship money, enabling them to pursue their academic and career aspirations.

The achievements of our L.I.T. Scholars are truly remarkable. We have had scholars recognized as Gates Millennium Scholars, the first recipients of the USC-Columbia Honors Scholarship, the first Clemson University Honors Scholars, and so much more. Our scholars have also excelled in extracurricular activities, taking on roles as campus ambassadors, participating in Greek organizations, serving as representatives in the Student Government Association (SGA), and more.

At the L.I.T. Program, we believe in empowering the next generation of leaders. Through a unique combination of structured courses, hands-on experiences, and exposure opportunities, we prepare our scholars to navigate the challenges of tomorrow's world with confidence and competence.

Join us at the L.I.T. Program and unleash your potential for leadership excellence. Together, we will shape a brighter future!
