The Carlo and Nika White Foundation was honored to attend the @beautymarks4girls 5th Annual Scholarship Ball and present a $2,500 scholarship to Mackenzie, who will attend Lander University this fall.
CNWF also pledged $2,000 toward her sophomore, junior, and senior years because we believe investing in young people should continue as they grow, pursue, and become.
Beauty Marks for Girls is doing incredible, uplifting work to empower young women, and we are proud to support Mackenzie as she begins this next chapter.

Most teens focus on activities, but strong leaders focus on responsibility.
Here's How to Build a Responsibility Resume:
Start by listing every role you currently hold:
Student. Athlete. Employee. Volunteer. Sibling. Club member.
Next to each role, ask yourself:
What am I responsible for here?
Who depends on me?
What would excellence look like in this role?
Then choose one role and strengthen it through ACTION:
Show up 10 minutes early.
Prepare before practice.
Follow up without being asked.
Offer to help.
Leadership is built when you take small responsibilities seriously.
So start where you are and grow from there!

Carlo White, Sr., President of the Carlo & Nika White Foundation, holds a BS in Economics from Clemson University and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he managed a $36 million budget as Comptroller of Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.
His leadership reflects strategic stewardship, disciplined execution, and service-driven impact.
As an entrepreneur, Carlo has founded multiple successful companies, and his commitment to economic mobility and community well-being extends well beyond business.
He has served on the board of advisors for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors for Community Works Federal Credit Union, and he continues to support our community in so many meaningful ways.

Today, for Black History Month, we honor Dori Sanders.
Dori Sanders was a celebrated author and lifelong farmer from Clover, South Carolina.
She owned and operated a peach farm and used her writing to share stories rooted in family, faith, and Southern life, preserving experiences that are too often overlooked.
Her legacy reminds us that leadership takes many forms, including stewardship, storytelling, and building something lasting for the next generation.

Meet Diana Castro (Class of 2027)
Diana is actively involved in leadership and academic excellence through Beta Club, where she serves as Activity Chair, Mu Alpha Theta, Clemson Career Workshop, and Bridges.
Diana plans to attend college to pursue architecture, with a goal that is both professional and deeply personal. She hopes to one day design and build her mother’s future home while also launching her own business.

On Friday, January 16th, at the @theunityweekend Gala, we were proud to celebrate two scholarship recipients:

We were also grateful to reconnect with Brooke Little, a past scholarship recipient from two years ago now attending Winthrop University.
And being able to watch another Leaders in Training (LIT) student, Jaxynn Ford, receive a scholarship as well, just topped the evening off!

A new year is a natural moment to pause and take inventory, not just of your goals, but of your habits.
Because the truth is simple: 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚.
If you’re not sure where to start, try this for one week: keep a running list of the rhythm of your day (you can do this on any note app or just using a good, ole fashioned notebook! 📕)
Write it all down... how you begin your day, your work cadence, do you flip back and forth between your phone and work, are you a multi-tasker, how do you end your day.
No judgement either!
Then ask yourself:
Is this getting me closer to my goals and dreams?
What needs to shift?
Then shift!
Small changes, repeated consistently, create big change over time.
